Tailored Research

We recommend this option if you:

• are carrying out your own research but need some help
• need some in-depth information on one or more ancestors (e.g. research into a particular event in your ancestor's life that may be reported in a newspaper article)
• need someone to visit the Gwynedd-based archives (the Caernarfon and Dolgellau county records offices, Bangor University archives) to research particular documents for you

As the amount of research and time required to carry out this type of work will vary, please contact us and we will provide you with an estimate. Currently, we charge £16 per hour for research (which includes travel), with certificates being extra as charged by the General Records Office or local registrar.
